3D STEP Model from PDF
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a single 2-D PDF drawing that must be turned into a fully parametric, highly detailed 3-D STEP (.stp) file suitable for direct hand-off to our manufacturing team. Every feature on the print—holes, fillets, radii, and needs to be present and placed exactly to the specified dimensions so machining or CNC programming can begin without further cleanup.
You may work in SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, CATIA, Fusion 360 or any comparable professional CAD platform, as long as the final export is a neutral STEP that opens error-free. Please keep modeling best practices in mind (clean feature tree, meaningful names, no unresolved sketches) so future revisions remain straightforward.
Deliverables:
• One production-ready STEP file that mirrors the 2-D PDF in full detail
• A screenshot or quick viewport capture proving geometry and key dimensions match the print
Acceptance criteria will be a tolerance check against the original PDF and a quick in-house import test on our side. Let me know your estimated turnaround and which CAD system you’ll use, and feel free to flag any unclear dimensions before you start.
