STEP CAD Files for CNC Milling
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m preparing a metalworking job that will be milled on a CNC, and I need a CAD specialist to turn my sketches and reference dimensions into clean, production-ready STEP files. The design must respect typical machining constraints—proper tool clearances, fillet radii, and sensible wall thicknesses—so the parts can go straight from CAD to CAM without rework.
I will supply handwritten sketches, overall dimensions, and functional notes. Your role is to model the parts accurately, double-check fit between mating components, and share any suggestions that could lower cycle time or improve rigidity once they’re on the mill.
Deliverables
• Parametric 3D model (native file from your software of choice)
• Exported STEP files for each component, ready for CNC milling
• A brief sheet summarising material, critical tolerances, and any machining recommendations
I’m aiming for a quick turnaround and will be available for prompt feedback. Let me know the CAD platform you prefer and an estimated timeline to complete the first draft.
