Rhino & TopSolid Chair Modeling
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I have a catalogue of 150 + chair designs that now need clean, production-ready digital twins. Every piece must be built in Rhino and then transferred—or rebuilt if required—inside TopSolid so I can move straight into CAM and nesting without extra conversion work later.
Source material ranges from hand sketches to rough DXF outlines; some chairs will already have partial surfaces that only need refinement, others must be modelled from scratch. I’m flexible on the exact visual fidelity, but each model has to respect the real-world dimensions I’ll supply and be tidy enough for downstream machining and rendering. We can decide together, case by case, when a chair only needs simple surfacing versus full seat-shell detailing.
Core objectives
• Follow my dimensional drawings exactly; critical faces must hit ±1 mm tolerance.
• Keep layer structure and naming consistent across all files so assembly macros run unedited.
• Supply two native files per chair: .3dm (Rhino) and .top (TopSolid). No third-party translators—everything should open error-free in both platforms.
I’m planning to send the chairs in weekly batches; once you finish a batch we’ll review it on a quick screen share, lock any tweaks, then move on to the next set. If you already lean on Grasshopper for repetitive elements or TopSolid’s parametric templates, feel free to bring that efficiency into the workflow—speed is great as long as the geometry stays watertight.
When you reply, please tell me how many chairs you can realistically turn around per week and share one Rhino + TopSolid sample so I can check your layer hygiene and export settings.
