Revolutionary Bike Powertrain Partnership
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm working on a radically new human-powered vehicle—picture the freedom of running or swimming, translated into a wheeled machine. The articulated frame is partially developed; what I now need is some mechanical engineer or open minded inventor to work together on the frame and on the power transmission, then is an integral part of the frame.
In a first moment we should meet to talk about the idea, then i could give you an image of what this vehicle will look like. We will complete the very basic cardboard and wood model I'm working on. Then we will pass on 3D CAD. It can be FreeCAD or SolidWorks.
Our mission is to design a hybrid drive that combines a compact gear train with a compressed-air transmission. This is not a conventional chain or belt job; the layout calls for carefully staged gearing to combine body motion and machine motion interfaced by a pneumatic module then store and release energy opportunely.
