Revit 2027 Point Cloud Conversion
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
I have a single, very large e57 point-cloud file—more than 200 individual scans—that I have already indexed in Autodesk ReCap Pro. My next step is to bring that cloud into Revit 2027 and use it as an accurate guide for developing the architectural model of an existing building.
What matters most to me is clean, well-structured geometry that represents the architectural details only; I do not need structural or MEP elements at this stage. Within those architectural details I want all walls and partitions, ceilings and floors, plus every door and window clearly modeled. Everything must sit in perfect alignment with the underlying cloud so that the Revit model can be trusted for downstream documentation.
Because this is entirely scan-to-BIM, precision is essential. I will provide the RCP/RCS generated by ReCap along with any project coordinates you require. Please handle any necessary clean-up or segmentation of the cloud before modeling so that the final file remains lightweight and navigable in Revit 2027.
Deliverables:
• A single Revit 2027 (.rvt) file containing walls, partitions, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows derived from the point cloud
• The cloud linked and locked in place for verification, with levels and grids set to match site coordinates
• All geometry precisely aligned to the scan, ready for me to annotate and develop further
If you have experience converting large point clouds to Revit and can demonstrate past projects of similar scale, I’d love to work with you.
