Reverse Engineer Small Part STL
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a small physical component that I’d like to reproduce. The task is to study the part, capture every feature accurately, and deliver a clean, watertight STL file ready for 3D printing. I can provide high-resolution photos with reference rulers and, if needed, key measurements taken with calipers.
You will:
• Examine the images (or the sample itself if you prefer shipping arrangements)
• Recreate the geometry in CAD so the new file matches the original part’s fit and function
• Export the final model as an error-free STL that slices without warnings in Cura, PrusaSlicer, or similar tools
Acceptance criteria:
1. Dimensional accuracy within ±0.2 mm of the supplied measurements
2. No non-manifold edges or intersecting faces
3. File opens and passes mesh checks in Netfabb or Autodesk Meshmixer
If you typically work in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino, mention it so I know which native file you could also supply (optional).
The object is less than 1.5in long
