Reverse-Engineer Consumer Product Models

Job ID: 40523454

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

I need several existing consumer products captured in clean, fully-parametric CAD so they can go straight to manufacturing. You will start from the reference photos, dimensions, and any tear-down notes I supply, recreate each part with tight tolerances, and return one organised 3mf file per product. Features should remain editable for wall-thickness tweaks, draft angles, and parting-line adjustments once we move to tooling.

Accuracy is critical: functional interfaces must match the originals within ±0.1 mm and surfaces should be smooth enough for injection-mould finish. Please use whichever professional package you prefer—SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo, or similar—as long as the final export is native 3mf and free of repair flags.

Deliverables
• Fully-parametric 3D models of all parts, exported as 3mf
• A short PDF report per product noting key dimensions, tolerances, and assumptions

I will review each file in Netfabb and run a quick test print; payment is released once the model passes this check and imports error-free into our CAM workflow. Let me know your experience with reverse-engineering plastics and your typical turnaround per part so we can schedule the hand-offs.
