Retail Equipment CAD Design

Job ID: 40246736

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

I have an early-stage concept for a piece of commercial equipment that will be used in a retail environment, and I need it turned into clean, production-ready CAD. The general look and dimensions are already sketched; what’s missing are the detailed 3D models, exploded views, and engineering drawings that a fabricator can follow.

You will start from my rough sketches, refine the form factor for in-store use, and resolve the mechanical joins and tolerances. Material selection advice is welcome, as is any suggestion that lowers cost without sacrificing durability or aesthetics.

Core tools are up to you—SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360 or similar—as long as the native files plus STEP/IGES exports are supplied. All critical dimensions and call-outs must be fully annotated so a shop can quote directly from your drawings.

Deliverables
• Fully parametric 3D CAD model of the equipment
• 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and annotations
• Rendered visuals for a short stakeholder presentation (optional but appreciated)

Acceptance criteria
• Models open error-free in the current version of SolidWorks or as neutral STEP files
• Drawings show every fabricated or off-the-shelf part clearly numbered and cross-referenced
• Overall footprint stays within the limits I provide after kickoff

If you have experience designing fixtures, kiosks, or similar retail hardware, your insight will be valuable. Let’s turn this concept into something that can roll straight onto the shop floor.
