Refine iPhone Spoolie Case CAD
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I already have an iPhone case modeled in both STEP and STL. The geometry is solid, but before I move on to physical prototypes I need two things:
• A magnetic attachment point for a built-in spoolie (eyelash brush) worked seamlessly into the back or side of the case.
• A general polish of the existing design so it is ready for manufacture—think consistent wall thicknesses, sensible draft angles, and clean parting lines.
Your task is to open my current files, add the new feature, and tighten up everything else so a supplier can drop the files straight into their CAM or injection-molding workflow.
Deliverables
1. Updated STEP and STL files incorporating the magnetic spoolie mount.
2. A brief PDF or screenshot set that calls out critical dimensions, magnet specs, and any design-for-manufacture tweaks you introduced.
3. Confirmation that the updated model passes a basic manufacturing check (e.g., no non-manifold edges, adequate clearance around buttons, camera, speakers, etc.).
I created the original model in SolidWorks, but I’m fine if you prefer Fusion 360, Creo, or a comparable CAD package—just return fully compatible STEP and watertight STL exports.
