Refine Plastic Utensil STP Model

Job ID: 40540397

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I already have a STEP file of a plastic utensil and the original STL reference that inspired it. Before I send the design to tooling, I need a skilled CAD modeller to bring the STEP file up to spec and make sure it matches the original intent captured in the STL.

Scope of work
• Cross-check the current STEP against the STL to confirm overall geometry, then lock the finished size to exactly 168 mm × 34 mm × 19 mm.
• Structural integrity tweaks – please adjust material thickness where it is uneven or too thin and add or refine support ribs or other internal structures so the part will mould cleanly and stay rigid.
• Aesthetic refinements – I want a clean consumer-grade finish, so smooth any visible layer artefacts, sharpen or soften edges and contours where needed, and refine engravings or pattern details so they appear crisp in tooling without increasing sink risk.

Deliverable
• One production-ready STEP file that reflects every change above and opens error-free in SolidWorks / Fusion 360. A quick screenshot comparison with the STL overlay will be appreciated so I can see the alignment at a glance.

Acceptance
The design is accepted once the STEP reports the stated X, Y, Z dimensions of 168 mm × 34 mm × 19 mm, shows consistent wall thickness, passes a basic draft analysis for injection molding.

If this sounds straightforward for you, let me know how soon you can turn it around, and which CAD package you’ll use so I can match version numbers.
