Refine Humanoid Hand CAD Model

Job ID: 40068855

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I have a fully-articulated humanoid hand already modeled and 3D-printed from STEP files. Functionally it works, but before I move to CNC machining I need the palm portion slimmed down: the current geometry sits at roughly 30 mm thick and, once the 3–5 mm silicone skin is added, the entire assembly must stay below roughly 150–200 mm total thickness.

While you do that, please soften the design with moderately rounded edges so the transition beneath the silicone reads naturally to the touch. Fingers, joints and attachment features may remain as they are; only the palm requires material removal and edge refinement.

Deliverable: an updated, manufacturing-ready STEP file (or the native file from your CAD package plus a STEP export) that preserves all existing kinematics, passes a quick interference check, and is immediately usable for CNC programming. I’ll provide the current STEP file the moment we agree to proceed and can jump on a quick call if you need clarification.
