Pulley Block CAD Re-Design

Job ID: 40224395

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

An existing pulley block needs its CAD files updated in two stages.

Stage 1 – Full-size unit
• Modify both the sheave and the axle.
• Sheave: alter the inner and root diameters and add a knurling feature exactly where marked on my hand-annotated drawings.
• Axle: create several stepped diameters, new radii and an offset-slot revision so a sealed needle bearing can be press-fit without touching the cheeks.
Nothing on the cheeks themselves changes; injection-mould tooling will handle those later.

Stage 2 – Scaled concept
Using the same geometry, generate a second set of models at roughly two-thirds of the original overall size so I can 3-D print and check visual proportions.

Files I will supply
• Current .STL of the cheek
• .IGS of both sheave and axle
• Scans of the drawings with my handwritten dimensions

What I need back
1. Updated solid models of the full-size assembly (.IGS)
2. Matching assembly at 2/3 scale (.IGS)
3. Printable .STL for the cheek (both sizes)
4. Dimensioned fabrication PDFs for all revised parts

Fit, clearances and stack-up must be verified in an assembly environment before export so I can send everything straight to the printer and the machine shop. Use any mainstream parametric package—SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360 are all fine—as long as the neutral formats above are honoured.
