Prototype Product 3D CAD Design

Job ID: 39914090

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m developing a new product and need a skilled 3D CAD designer who can take my rough concept and turn it into accurate files ready for prototyping. The job is strictly product-focused—no architecture or general mechanical assemblies—so I’m looking for someone experienced in creating manufacturable models with clean geometry, correct tolerances, and an eye for aesthetics.

Here’s what the collaboration will look like:

• You’ll start from the sketches and reference photos I provide, ask the right questions, and suggest improvements where functionality or manufacturability can be enhanced.
• We’ll iterate until the external shape, internal clearances, and critical dimensions are locked in.
• Once approved, I’ll need production-ready deliverables: native CAD file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar), STEP/IGES, and an STL optimized for 3D printing.

For the prototype stage it’s essential that parts print without excessive supports and assemble smoothly, so experience with DFM/3DP guidelines is a plus. A brief note on how you plan to approach tolerance stack-ups and any surface finish considerations will help me choose the right partner.

If you’ve done product-level designs that moved successfully to a physical prototype, please share one or two examples and tell me which software you used. I’m ready to start as soon as we can confirm scope and timeline.
