Production-Ready 3D CAD for 40mm Round Titanium Watch Case (10-11mm Height)
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a production-ready 3D CAD model for a round 40 mm watch case that stays within an overall height of 10–11 mm. The case will be machined from titanium/ stainless steel and should follow a clean, minimalistic aesthetic—no ornamental engravings, extra crowns, or sporty add-ons.
Your file should be ready for CNC or MIM manufacture, so please model any features normally required to house a standard mechanical or quartz movement of this size, including:
Movement holder cavity
Case-back fit with threads
Crown tube
Gasket seats
Respect realistic wall thicknesses for titanium
Surface transitions must be smooth enough to accommodate brushing or polishing.
Key Specifications:
Case diameter: 40mm exactly
Case thickness: 10-11mm total (slim profile)
Lug width: 20mm straight (for standard straps)
Lug-to-lug: 47-48mm
Lug holes: Standard 1.2mm, centered
CRITICAL: Threaded Top
External threads on upper case (for screw-on bezel/cover)
Fine pitch: 0.5mm
Thread length: 3-4mm
Flat shoulder/seat below threads
Crystal seat must sit below thread start
Crystal:
Flat sapphire crystal seat
Below thread start
Standard thickness allowance (~1.0-1.2mm)
Case Back:
Screw-down type with standard threads
Gasket seat included
Movement Compatibility:
For standard quartz chronograph movement (similar to Seiko V192)
Movement cavity must accommodate movement height ~5mm
Date window at 4:30 position
Stem hole at correct height
Deliverables Required:
Native CAD file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
STEP file (for factory/manufacturing use)
STL file (for 3D printing prototypes)
Dimensioned drawing confirming 40mm diameter and 10-11mm height limits
Technical drawing with all tolerances
Requirements:
Mechanical CAD experience with precision components
Experience with threaded parts and tight tolerances (±0.05mm)
Understanding of CNC machining requirements for titanium
Portfolio showing similar precision mechanical work
Must show previous CAD work (no generic proposals)
Budget:
based on proposal and right candidate
Timeline:
1-2 weeks
I will review the model against measurements and overall visual simplicity before releasing approval.
