3D Printable Coin
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a clean, single-piece CAD model of a flat circular coin that I can print in PLA and pause mid-print to insert a 35 mm NFC tag. The model must be fully manifold and suitable for standard FDM printing.
Important: the internal pocket must be a shallow recess, not a through-hole, and it should open from the top face of the coin.
Key dimensions
– Overall diameter: 40 mm
– Total thickness: 5 mm
– Internal pocket: 36 mm diameter, 1.0 mm deep, perfectly centered
– Solid bottom thickness below pocket: 2.6 mm
– Solid top cover thickness above pocket: 1.4 mm
Both faces should be flat with a standard FDM surface finish. No text, logos, or decorative features. Design for a straightforward print with PLA and reasonable tolerances.
Deliverables
• STL file ready to slice
• STEP or other editable source file preferred
