3D Printable Automotive Socket Holder

Job ID: 40200055

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a CAD-ready design for a socket holder that I can 3D print and drop straight into my toolbox. The organiser is for automotive ratchets and sockets, so it must fit standard drive sizes and keep everything in tight order even when the tray is jostled around in the shop.

Key features I want baked into the model:
• Clearly moulded label slots so I can mark each socket size.
• Detachable sections that snap together or slide apart, letting me re-arrange the layout as my kit grows.

A magnetic base could be interesting down the road, but for this version the two items above are mandatory.

Please deliver the native CAD file (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or a compatible alternative) plus print-ready STL files. I’ll be printing in PLA on a Prusa Mk3, so keep overhangs reasonable and avoid supports wherever you can. Dimensional accuracy within ±0.2 mm is the target; I’ll confirm fit by test-printing a single bay before releasing final approval.

If you have questions about socket dimensions or printer tolerances, just ask—happy to supply measurements and feedback quickly so we can wrap this up and get it on the printer.
