Premium Smart Speaker CAD Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a SolidWorks-based 3D design for a cylindrical home-assistant device that evokes the style of Amazon Alexa and Google Nest, yet stands out with a refined honeycomb metal texture and an unmistakably premium feel. The model must be ready for production, so wall thickness, draft angles, fastening points, internal volume for PCB/speaker arrays, and any over-moulded details should be engineered with real tooling in mind rather than left as cosmetic placeholders.
Core functionality I am building around includes far-field voice control and a small capacitive touch screen on the crown, so the enclosure must provide clean acoustic pathways for microphone arrays, an unobstructed display bezel, and adequate heat dissipation. I will supply the PCB footprint and component stack-up once we begin; your task is to wrap this in an elegant, manufacturable shell, present clear part break-ups (top cover, mid-ring, grille, base, etc.), and propose sensible joining methods such as hidden screws or snap-fits that survive injection-moulded aluminium or magnesium.
Please share relevant SolidWorks experience—especially projects that progressed into mass production—as that will weigh most heavily in my selection.
On delivery I expect:
• Native SolidWorks files plus STEP interchange.
• 2-D drawings with GD&T suitable for a tooling vendor.
• A short design-for-manufacture note highlighting critical tolerances and suggested surface finishes.
If this sounds like your wheelhouse, I’m eager to review your past production-ready work and get this speaker moving toward tooling.
