Precision 3D Prototype Design
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I have a new product in development and need a 3-D CAD model that I can put straight into functional testing. The design must be accurate enough for a true-to-spec “trial run,” so dimensional precision and a reliable fit between mating parts are the top priorities.
You will begin from my rough sketches and reference dimensions, refine the geometry, and deliver a clean, fully parametric file. A native SolidWorks file would be ideal, but STEP and STL exports are also required so I can move quickly into printing and tolerance checks.
Acceptance criteria
• Final model meets all provided dimensions to ±0.1 mm
• Features that mate, slide, or lock must do so without visible gaps or interference in the digital assembly
• Deliverables: native CAD file, STEP, and STL, plus a brief change log outlining any design optimisations you make
If you have a proven track record of producing tight-tolerance prototypes, I’d love to see a sample of your work and get started right away.
