Polypropylene Storage Container Mold Design

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need a mechanical engineer who can take my concept for a household storage container and turn it into a production-ready polypropylene design, complete with an injection-mould layout. The container will be used around the home, so wall thickness, stackability, ergonomic grip zones and a secure snap-fit lid all matter. I already have rough dimensions and a sketch; what’s missing is the detailed CAD model, draft angles, parting lines, and the gate/runner strategy that will let a mould maker cut steel with confidence.

The core tasks are:
• Create a 3D model in a mainstream format such as SolidWorks, Creo or Inventor.
• Provide 2D manufacturing drawings with tolerances and surface finishes called out.
• Develop the mould design—single- or multi-cavity—showing sprue, runners, ejector pins and cooling channels suited to polypropylene.
• Include basic flow analysis so we know the fill pattern and potential sink or warp areas before steel is ordered.

I’ll review each stage and sign off before you move on, so please be ready for a couple of iterations. Final files should be delivered in native CAD plus STEP/IGES and PDF prints.
