Point Cloud Product 3D Model
Budget: ₹100 – ₹110 INR
I have a cleaned point-cloud scan of a small consumer product and I need it converted into a solid, watertight 3D model suitable for industrial-design iteration and functional prototyping. Medium-level detail is perfect—every external surface must be faithful to the scan, but internal features can stay simplified so the file remains lightweight and easy to revise.
You’re free to work in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino or any other mainstream CAD package as long as you deliver a neutral STEP (or IGES) file plus the native file with full parametric history. Smooth, gap-free surfaces and logical feature naming are critical because the model will move straight into 3D-print testing and CNC quoting.
I will supply:
• The point-cloud file (E57 and XYZ formats)
• Reference photos and key dimensions for verification
Acceptance criteria:
• Surfaces deviate no more than ±0.3 mm from the scan
• File opens error-free in SolidWorks 2022
• Overall volume and key mounting points match the provided reference dimensions
If you can turn this around quickly and communicate clearly on iterative tweaks, let’s get started.
