Plastic Product Detailed CAD Redesign

Job ID: 40035638

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

My current proof-of-concept is a functional “Frankenstein” assembled from assorted parts, mostly plastic. I now need a production-ready digital version. The task is to translate the physical prototype into fully detailed 3D CAD models that show every external surface and all internal components.

Beyond a straight conversion, I want the model refined so it is stronger, looks cleaner, and operates better. In practical terms that means revisiting wall thicknesses, ribs, snap-fits, internal clearances, and any cosmetic surfaces so the final design balances structural integrity, aesthetic appeal, and functionality.

SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar solid-modelling platforms are all acceptable as long as the native file plus STEP/IGES exports are supplied.

Deliverables
• Parametric 3D CAD assembly with all parts, sub-assemblies, and internal mechanisms fully defined
• Exploded view and sectioned view configurations for review
• High-resolution renders that illustrate exterior finish and colour choices
• A short report (bullet points are fine) summarising structural and functional improvements you introduced

I will test the files for completeness by opening them in Fusion 360 and performing a basic interference check, so please keep features and mates cleanly constrained. Once everything passes review I will sign off and move to the next phase.
