Plastic Household Product CAD
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a concept for a new plastic household item and I need a straightforward CAD treatment so I can validate the idea and prepare for prototyping.
Here is what I’m looking for:
• A clean 3D product design that reflects standard injection-moulded plastic guidelines.
• A matching set of basic 2D drawings with key dimensions, tolerances and call-outs for moldability.
• Native files in your preferred CAD package (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) plus neutral formats such as STEP/IGES so I can share them easily with manufacturers.
The form factor is simple—I’m not after complex mechanisms or surfacing, just a solid, production-friendly model I can review and iterate on. Once delivered, I’ll test print it and may return for small tweaks, so the model should be organised with clear feature names to make edits painless.
If you have experience designing plastic consumer goods and understand draft angles, wall thicknesses, ribs and snap fits, I’d love to see a couple of examples from your portfolio.
