Plasma DXF-to-NGC Conversion
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m looking for a CAM specialist who can take my flat-plate designs and turn them into ready-to-run .ngc files in SheetCam for a JD Squared plasma table. Material will range from 6 mm to 12 mm (¼–½ in) mild steel, and every part includes precise holes or cut-outs that must stay true after the kerf offset.
You’ll receive either sketches or rough DXF outlines; your job is to clean up the geometry, nest it efficiently, apply the correct toolset, and export verified G-code using the JD Squared post. Please make sure pierce delay, lead-ins/outs, cut order, and torch height settings are dialed in so my operators can load the files and cut without edits.
Deliverables
• Final, production-ready DXF for each part
• Matching .ngc files generated in SheetCam
• A brief parameter sheet (kerf, amperage, feed, pierce delay) for reference
I’ll run a small test first; once that proves out, this will become ongoing work whenever new plate jobs appear.
