DN250 Pipework 3D Modelling & Drawings
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I need a clash-free 3D model and fabrication package for two DN250 traditional mild-steel pipes (flow and return, outer diameter of the carrier pipe = 273.1mm) that will run through an existing service duct in the UK. Each line will be insulated with 50 mm mineral-wool insulation with aluminium stucco cladding, and will utilise PN16 flanges every 6m unless less is required. The maximum span between pipe supports is 5m. Piping design shall be per BS EN 13480. Pipes shall be seamless steel tube, per BS EN 10216.
You will receive:
• an RCP point-cloud of the duct to reference for accurate routing (attached). This is estimated to be 60% of the total route (due to flooding at the time of survey, the fist section of the duct could not be scanned. A second scan will be provided if required, and can be initially assumed to be the same as the rest of the duct)
• sketches/photo markups for the redundant services that may be stripped out, if required (to be provided later if required).
Scope of work
1. Build the pipework geometry inside the point cloud and maintain the full insulation build-up so real clearances are checked in model space.
2. Design and show bracketry/supports in detail, including the new 50 × 100 steel-channel “goal posts” that are expected to be required.
3. Produce clearly annotated sections, elevations, and any isometric or spool sheets required for workshop fabrication and on-site installation.
4. Supply native files (Revit or AutoCAD—your choice) plus PDFs for markup.
Acceptance
• No hard clashes within the point-cloud envelope.
• All supports dimensioned, referenced, and suitable for PN16 bolting sets.
• Drawing set complete enough for a fabricator to price, cut, and assemble without additional detailing.
