Part-Time Product Design Collaboration⁴
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Over the next few weeks I’ll be turning a series of early concept sketches into production-ready consumer products and need steady design support for roughly 10–15 hours per week. Because this is a strictly part-time engagement, the workload will be scheduled flexibly around key milestones rather than a fixed daily timetable.
What I already have
– Hand-drawn and digital sketches outlining form, basic dimensions, target materials and intended user interactions.
– Reference mood boards that capture the look-and-feel I’m after.
What you’ll help me produce
1. Refined concept iterations that balance aesthetics, ergonomics and manufacturing constraints.
2. Full 3D CAD models (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Rhino) with organised feature trees.
3. Exploded-view technical drawings and annotation ready for tool makers.
4. Two to three photorealistic renders per concept for stakeholder review.
Acceptance criteria
• Models open without errors and respect agreed parting lines, wall thicknesses and tolerances.
• Drawings include complete dimensions, materials and finish call-outs.
• Renders match pantone and material samples provided.
A strong grasp of material selection, DFM considerations for plastics and metals, and proficiency with KeyShot or similar rendering tools will keep the process smooth. Illustrator or Photoshop skills are a plus for quick visual tweaks, but core modelling accuracy comes first.
Please share a concise portfolio link highlighting previous product design work—especially anything that advanced to manufacturing—so I can gauge fit quickly. Once we confirm scope, we’ll break the job into clear milestones (concept refinement, detailed CAD, final package) before kicking off. I’m eager to start collaborating and see where your creativity takes these products.
