Technical Proficiency Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD modeling and drafting (e.g., Unigraphics-NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

Engineering Knowledge Strong grasp of mechanical engineering principles, automotive systems, and materials science.

Manufacturing Process Understanding of manufacturing processes for plastics, sheet metal, castings, and machined parts.

GD&T Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing .

Analysis & Testing Experience with prototype testing, validation, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Problem-Solving Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve design and production issues
Project Management Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate with various teams

Communication Effective verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration and technical documentation

Software Skills Experience with BOM management systems (SAP, Windchill), and possibly ERP systems

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) or higher in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering; 2–5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in automotive product design
