Packaging Mechanism Design & Modeling
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a consumer-oriented packing concept that feeds items into plastic sleeves, heat-seals them, and advances to the next cycle. The core idea is solid and I need detailed drawings, and the mechanics. I now need these drawings converted into a fully engineered, test-ready design.
Your task is to transform the concept into a complete 3D CAD assembly, flesh out every moving part, and specify the materials that will survive repeated heat, friction and load. I want to see how the film advances, where the sealing jaws sit, how the drive train engages and resets—every cam, gear or actuator modelled so we can simulate the full feed-seal-cut sequence before metal is cut.
Deliverables
• Parametric 3D model of the entire mechanism (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or comparable)
• Detailed mechanical drawings with tolerances, exploded views and part numbers
• Material recommendations for structural parts, heat-exposed elements, consumables and housing
• Iterative updates as we refine clearances and ergonomics en route to a prototype
Acceptance is based on a digital assembly that cycles smoothly in simulation, plus drawings accurate enough for a machine shop to quote the first prototype.
