PLC Trainer Frame & Backplate Design

I’m building a PLC trainer for an educational lab and need a complete mechanical design package. The unit will sit on a 30 × 30 mm aluminium-extrusion frame and carry a steel backplate laid out for typical PLC components (CPU, I/O modules, power supply, terminal strips, emergency stop, etc.). Because bench space in the lab is limited, I’ll be giving you exact overall dimensions in millimetres—please design everything around those custom figures rather than any off-the-shelf panel size.

What I’d like from you:
• A fully-detailed 3-D CAD model of the frame and backplate. SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor is ideal, but STEP files are fine for interchange.
• Manufacturing drawings: extrusion cut-list, drill patterns, and a clearly labelled backplate layout so students can wire the trainer intuitively.
• A simple bill of materials that lists every extrusion length, bracket, fastener, DIN rail, and panel item.

The frame must assemble with standard slot nuts and corner brackets only—no custom machining beyond normal cutting and drilling. Keep clearance for cable ducts and allow room at the sides for add-on modules we might introduce later. If you’ve designed trainer rigs before, let me know; otherwise just stay mindful of classroom durability and ease of student access.

I’ll send the exact measurements the moment we start, along with photos of the existing lab benches so you can check clearances. Looking forward to seeing a clean, ready-to-fabricate design I can hand straight to the workshop.
