2D PDF to STEP Model

I have a single-page PDF drawing of a mechanical part that now needs to be turned into an accurate 3D STEP file for manufacturing. Every line, hole position and feature shown in the 2D drawing must be replicated with the exact dimensions called out, so the shop can load the file directly into CAM without additional tweaks.

The PDF is clear, fully dimensioned and ready to send as soon as we start. I’m expecting a watertight, well-organised *.step file that opens cleanly in SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar mainstream CAD platforms. If you prefer working in Inventor, Creo or NX that’s fine—just export the finished geometry to STEP and make sure no feature data is lost in translation.

Ideally you’ll double-check critical dimensions against the drawing before delivery and flag anything that looks ambiguous. Tolerances or material notes aren’t strictly required, but if you spot them and want to carry them through, that’s a welcomed bonus.

Deliverable:
• One finished, dimensionally correct STEP file ready for machining.
