I need a complete mechanical design package for a round aluminum box that can be opened and closed reliably on a lab / industrial production floor. Its main purpose is safe, repeated storage of small components, so the geometry, wall thicknesses, and any fastening or hinge solutions must be ready for real-world machining or CNC milling.

Scope
• 3D parametric model of the box (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) showing the body, lid, and chosen opening mechanism.
• Fully-dimensioned 2D manufacturing drawings with tolerances, surface-finish notes, and material call-outs for aluminium.
• Exploded view and simple parts list so my machinist can cost the job immediately.
• Quick turnaround--I’d like the first draft within a few days and the final version signed off as soon as we iterate once or twice.

Acceptance criteria
– Lid aligns flawlessly with the base and stays secure after 1 000 open/close cycles in a lab environment.
– Drawings open error-free in standard DWG/DXF and STEP formats.
– All dimensions match metric standards and are clearly annotated.
