Naval Architect needed for 48ft Motor Yacht (Production Ready Design)

Job ID: 40033660

Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR

I have a completed concept design (exterior, interior layout, and finish specification), supported by detailed illustrations and General Arrangement drawings, for a 48ft flybridge cruiser intended for professional series production. I am looking for a qualified Naval Architect or Marine Engineer to turn this concept into a technical production package.

Scope of work:

1. Hull verification and refinement: Verify and adjust existing hull lines for optimal performance with Volvo Penta shaft propulsion and final weight distribution.

2. Hydrostatics & Stability: Calculations required for CE-certification (Category B).

3. Structural Design: Scantling determination according to ISO 12215 (Glassfiber/GRP).

4. Technical Specification: Create a preliminary equipment list/spec for shipyard tendering.

5. Interior Production Drawings: Develop detailed 2D/3D technical drawings of all custom cabinetry, furniture, and internal modules (e.g., Corian worktops, light-weight marine plywood cabinets) for direct transfer to the shipyard’s CNC machine/joinery workshop.

Requirements:
• Must be proficient in Rhino 3D / Orca3D / Maxsurf and/or SolidWorks/AutoCAD for joinery design.
• Experience with CE-marking/ISO standards is a must.
• Please show examples of previous production files (not just renders).

The structural design (scantling) should emphasize production efficiency and cost-effective tooling typical for Eastern European shipyards.
