Modular Rolling Tray CAD Design
Budget: $100 – $300 USD
I am developing a modular rolling tray system and need manufacturing-ready CAD files for prototype production and supplier quotes.
The custom components to be designed are:
• Tray base (10” × 8” × 1.25”)
• Smell-proof lid with a perimeter lip seal
• Universal center module bay
• Interchangeable center modules
The grinder, ashtray, and lighter leash are existing third-party components that I will source separately and do not need to be designed.
The CAD design should include custom docking cavities for these components based on the dimensions I provide.
Third-party component specifications:
• Grinder dock: 2.45” diameter × 1.50” height
• Ashtray dock: 3.07” diameter × 0.90” height
Center module specifications:
• Universal module size: 4.30” × 1.30” × 1.15–1.30”
• Modules should use a simple drop-in pressure-fit system with matching shapes and retention features that prevent movement during use while allowing easy removal by hand.
• No magnets or twist-lock mechanisms.
Planned modules include:
1. Joint holder
2. Sealed storage container
3. Paper + tip dispenser with pull-through opening
4. Flat blunt holder with lid
5. Utility/tool holder
The product should be optimized for 3D printing initially while considering future injection molding or metal manufacturing.

• Dimensioned technical drawings
• Manufacturing recommendations and tolerances
