Modern Metal Meter Box Design

Job ID: 40278304

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a fresh, modern-looking metal bathroom water valve box that blends seamlessly with contemporary interiors while remaining functional and weather-resistant. Metal is a must, and I’m envisioning a sleek, minimalist aesthetic—smooth lines, flush surfaces, concealed fasteners, and a discreet hinge or lift-off panel so technicians can access valve and filters without disturbing the facade.

At this stage I don’t have set measurements, so I’m counting on your guidance to propose practical internal clearances (for a standard residential bathroom with three and single valve panel) and suitable wall depths. Space efficiency, and easy pipe routing all need to be factored into your recommendation.

Deliverables
• 2–3 concept visuals that capture the overall look, finish, and door action
• Final 3D CAD model (STEP or SolidWorks) with fabrication-ready sheet-metal drawings (DXF/flat-pattern)
• A short dimension guideline explaining how the box should scale if the utility layout varies slightly

Acceptance criteria
The final files must be ready for laser cutting and bending, use readily available sheet gauges, and allow mounting on brick, concrete, or timber framing with standard fixings.

If you regularly design metal enclosures in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD and enjoy dialing in modern details, I’d love to see examples of your past work and hear how quickly you can turn the first concepts around.
