3D Model Conversion to solid STEP for Injection Moulding
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have an existing STL (3D) of a patented plastic utensil that now needs to live in a fully editable solid SolidWorks environment for plastic injection. Your task is to convert the file into STEP and while providing native SLDPRT and XT formats while matching every single detail, contour, edge, and datum found in the original STL mesh. Once complete, the model must measure exactly 168 mm × 33 mm × 19 mm—no shrinkage, scaling, or surface deviation is acceptable, so treat this as a high-precision reverse-engineering job rather than a casual conversion. Please keep your tolerances tight enough that any deviation is visually and numerically negligible when the two files are compared (think typical “high precision” settings in SolidWorks or better, not a loose STL import). Product must be received and tested before any payments.
Deliverables:
• STEP file: Fully parametric and editable SLDPRT and XT file built in SolidWorks as well as a solid high precision STEP file generated from that part. Files must be compatible to plastic injection molding, not appearance confirmation models.
• A matching STL exported from the rebuilt solid for comparison.
• Clear, high-resolution screenshots showing front, back, top, bottom, left, right, and isometric views
• Final unit dimensions must be 168 mm × 34 mm × 19 mm
