Mechanical Product Design Support

Job ID: 40415576

Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 AUD

I have a new product idea ready to move from rough sketches into an engineered reality and need a mechanical design engineer who specialises in full-stack product design. I’ll supply the functional requirements, key dimensions, and usage scenarios; you translate those into robust CAD models and manufacturable parts.

Your work will include refining the overall architecture, selecting suitable materials and mechanisms, and creating production-ready 3D assemblies with accompanying detail drawings (STEP/SolidWorks or similar). If you can also guide tolerance analysis, DFM considerations, and basic strength or thermal checks, even better.

I’m happy to iterate quickly—share early visuals so we can lock the form and function before pushing too deep into documentation. Final deliverables should let any competent factory quote and build the parts with minimal back-and-forth.

Please share a concise portfolio of comparable consumer or industrial products you’ve taken from concept to release, along with the CAD tools you prefer and your typical turnaround time for first iterations.
