Mechanical Drawing to Printable CAD
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I will provide a mechanical part drawing and need it converted into a faithful 3-dimensional CAD model, delivered in STL format. Every feature called out on the drawing must appear in the model so it can go straight to a 3-D printer without additional edits.
Preferred workflow is SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor or similar professional software; as long as the exported STL is watertight and true to the specified dimensions, the native file you worked in can also be shared.
Deliverables
• STL file ready for slicing
• Native CAD file (SLDPRT, STEP, or equivalent)
• A quick screenshot or turn-table render confirming all features before final hand-off
Acceptance criteria
• Dimensional accuracy matches the drawing within standard print tolerances
• No non-manifold edges or open shells
• File imports cleanly into Cura/PrusaSlicer without repair prompts
Once you receive the drawing, please estimate turnaround time and confirm any clarifications you need so I can approve the final model swiftly.
