Logistics Hub Layout Finalization
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I need the master layout for our upcoming logistics hub taken from concept to construction-ready status. The site already has preliminary footprints; what remains is a coherent, space-efficient plan that brings every element together on a single, clash-free drawing set.
Scope
The layout must show the final positions and dimensions of: transportable office buildings, heavy-duty workshop, truck and trailer parking bays, container park, internal roads with one-way traffic flow arrows, gatehouses, security fencing, power and communications, pole-mounted security lighting, and CCTV cameras. I want every square metre to work hard, so please challenge existing spacing and manoeuvring areas to maximise capacity without compromising safe vehicle movement.
Technical expectations
The base drawing is in AutoCAD. Layers should be structured logically (civil, structural, electrical, security, signage, landscaping) so we can pick up the file immediately. Incorporate turning-circle sweeps and swept-path analysis for A-doubles; maintain compliant setbacks from fences and buildings. Electrical and comms runs must align with our building layout, and lighting levels should meet AS/NZS standards for freight yards.
Deliverables
• Updated CAD (.dwg) and PDF master plan, scale 1:200
• Separate layer-key document explaining layer names & colours
• Swept-path analysis snapshots (PDF)
• Lighting and camera coverage overlay with lux and FoV notes
Timeline
I need the first pass within a week and the signed-off package shortly after, as this is an ASAP priority. Quick iterations via Teams or Zoom are fine; the faster we achieve a space-efficient, fully coordinated plan, the sooner construction can begin.
