3D & 2D Lip Gloss Tube
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m developing a plastic tube for a new lip-gloss line and need a complete engineering package that can move smoothly from concept to tooling. The work starts with a production-ready 3D CAD model of the tube and cap, followed by fully dimensioned 2D drawings. Once we have manufacturer feedback, I’ll also need iterative DFM updates to tighten tolerances, adjust wall thickness, and fine-tune any draft angles.
Please model with commonly used cosmetics-grade plastics in mind; I’m happy to take your advice on specific resins if it affects wall thickness or surface finish. I already have the desired fill volume and general form factor sketched, so you’ll be working from reference dimensions rather than starting completely from scratch.
Key deliverables:
• 3D CAD model (STEP or native SolidWorks) of tube and cap
• 2D manufacturing drawings with all critical dimensions, tolerances, and thread/fit details
• Exploded view or section view to illustrate assembly
• Up to two rounds of DFM revisions after initial supplier review
