LiDAR-to-AutoCAD Topo Conversion

Job ID: 40234210

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I have a set of LiDAR point-cloud files that need to be converted into fully annotated topographical maps in AutoCAD. The finished DWG should show high-detail terrain—including accurate contour lines, spot elevations, breaklines, and any visible structures—ready for immediate use in civil design.

You are free to use your preferred processing pipeline (e.g., CloudCompare, Recap, Civil 3D, QGIS) as long as the end product opens cleanly in standard AutoCAD and layers are sensibly organized. Please keep vertical and horizontal accuracy consistent with the source data and ensure surfaces are free of holes or spikes.

Deliverables
• AutoCAD DWG with layered, high-detail contours and structural features
• An exported surface (TIN or similar) referenced to the original LiDAR units
• A brief PDF summary of methods and any assumptions

I will provide the raw LiDAR files, project limits, and any ancillary site photos as soon as we begin. Let me know your typical turnaround time for similar datasets and include one or two sample drawings if available so I can gauge style compatibility.
