Industrial Conveyor System Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am upgrading an existing production line and want a purpose-built transport system that keeps parts moving smoothly between stations. The scope is strictly mechanical: a conveyor or equivalent transport mechanism that integrates with industrial machinery already on the floor.
Your work begins with my current line layout (DXF/PDF provided once we start) and the target throughput figures. From there, you will develop a complete conveyor design—frame, drive, idlers, guards, tensioning, the works—ready for fabrication.
Deliverables
• 3D CAD model and native files (SolidWorks, Inventor, or compatible STEP)
• Detailed manufacturing drawings with tolerances and exploded views
• Bill of Materials specifying locally available metric components
• Assembly and basic maintenance guide (PDF)
Acceptance is based on:
– Footprint matching the supplied layout
– Payload and speed calculations that meet the stated throughput
– Drawings fit for direct release to the machine shop without re-work
All calculations, assumptions, and standards you follow (ISO, DIN, etc.) should be included in a brief design report. If you have experience with conveyor FEA or motion simulation, let me know so we can decide whether to incorporate that analysis.
I will be available for quick feedback during Thai business hours to keep the iteration loop short and efficient.
