Indexing Conveyor Design Needed

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a complete mechanical design for an indexing conveyor that will feed plastic bags smoothly through a packaging station. The system must singulate, space, and present the bags in a repeatable, accurate manner so our downstream equipment can pick, fill, and seal without interruption.

Scope of work
• Develop a concept that fits within a 1.5 m footprint and supports up to 120 bags per minute.
• Provide 3D CAD models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and a concise bill of materials.
• Specify drives, sensors, and controls required for reliable bag indexing (servo or stepper welcome; I am flexible as long as parts are readily available).
• Address static buildup and bag slippage typical with thin plastic film.
• Deliver layout files that show how the conveyor ties into our existing packaging line.

Acceptance criteria
1. CAD files open natively in SolidWorks
2. Drawings include clear tolerances and material call-outs.
3. Demonstrated cycle time of 120 bags/minute through simple simulation or hand calculations.
4. All off-the-shelf components are noted with supplier and lead time.
