1-Inch Bow Lever Gear Design

Job ID: 39916678

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a compact mechanical solution to design a grip-mounted squeeze lever engaging a gear to quietly rotate a 3/8" vertical shaft inside roughly a 1" × 1" × 1" housing. The gearing would need to be reversible with a throw lever. The goal is to give my compound bow sight smooth, repeatable rotational adjustment without adding bulk or noise.

Here is what I’m after:

• A detailed 3D CAD model (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) of the lever-to-gear mechanism, sized to fit the 1-inch cube envelope.
• Gear selection and ratio calculations that turn a comfortable hand squeeze into controlled shaft rotation.
• An assembly drawing specifying aluminum or steel components, fasteners, and any bushings or dampers required for quiet operation.
• A brief build guide or BOM so a machine shop can prototype the parts.

The design must stand up to archery stresses, resist vibration, and keep tolerances tight enough to prevent sight drift. If you have experience with miniature gearing, compound bows, or silent mechanical linkages, this should feel right in your wheelhouse. i have basic drawings and animation of the desired idea.
