Hybrid Engine Concept Development
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I have a rough concept for a hybrid engine and now need an experienced mechanical engineer to turn that idea into an actionable design. The concept is still early, so I’m looking for help on almost every front—mechanical layout, electrical integration for the hybrid drivetrain, and thermal management to keep everything running efficiently.
Here’s what I expect from our collaboration:
• Refine the conceptual drawings into clear 3D CAD models ready for review.
• Run the core mechanical, electrical, and thermal calculations—power-to-weight, cooling loads, efficiency curves, and safety margins.
• Produce a concise technical specification sheet that includes materials, key dimensions, performance targets, and tolerance stack-ups.
• Outline a preliminary bill of materials and suggest off-the-shelf components where possible to keep costs realistic.
• Advise on appropriate simulation or FEA checks so we can validate stress points before any prototype money is spent.
SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, or comparable tools are welcome so long as exported files are compatible with common manufacturing workflows.
