I’m ready to move from concept sketches to a fully detailed CAD package for a commercial-grade horizontal laminar flow hood. The unit will be fabricated in 304 stainless steel and must deliver ISO-Class-5 air quality through a standard-size HEPA filter.

What I need designed
You’ll translate my functional notes—airflow of roughly 0.45 m/s across the work zone, noise below 60 dB, integral pre-filter plenum, blower housing, lighting, and an easy-clean work surface—into a manufacturable model. The frame should withstand routine lab use, allow straightforward welding or bolted assembly, and include service access for filter changes. I’d also like basic airflow simulations or hand calculations that confirm uniform velocity at the face of the hood.

Deliverables
• Native 3D model (SolidWorks preferred, STEP/IGES for sharing)
• Dimensioned 2D fabrication drawings with weld symbols and tolerances
• Exploded assembly view and simple instruction sheet for technicians
• Bill of materials listing sheet-metal gauges, fasteners, fan specs, and the selected HEPA cartridge
• Brief airflow or CFD summary validating design targets
