High-Speed Vertical Slide Design
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a senior mechanical designer who can turn my concept for a single-axis vertical linear slide into a production-ready package. The unit will sit inside a material-handling cell and must move quickly and repeatably, so every decision—from bearing selection to motor mounting—has to favor high-speed performance without sacrificing reliability.
Here is what I expect:
3D CAD model
• A fully detailed, parametric assembly built around aluminum components.
• All purchased parts (rails, ball screw or belt drive, motor adapter, sensors) called out clearly so sourcing is straightforward.
2D manufacturing drawings
• Dimensioned part prints with tolerances suited to high-speed motion.
• Exploded and section views for easy fabrication and QC.
Bill of materials
• Item numbers tied to the drawings, including vendor and part numbers where applicable.
I will provide stroke length, payload, and motor specs as soon as we kick off. Native SolidWorks files plus neutral formats (STEP, PDF) will be needed at hand-off. All work should be ready for immediate release to my machine shop and purchasing team.
