High-Detail Prototype STL Design

Job ID: 40408035

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have a new consumer-product concept sketched out and need it turned into a high-detail, print-ready model. You’ll receive drawings, dimensions, and photographs of comparable items; your job is to translate them into precise CAD geometry and hand back a watertight STL that will run cleanly on both FDM and SLA machines.

The model must respect realistic wall thicknesses, common tolerance ranges for plastic parts, and incorporate any undercuts, snap-fits, or internal channels I specify. I’m expecting at least one iteration after the first draft so we can dial in fine details and assembly clearances.

Deliverables
• Native CAD file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
• Final oriented STL, error-free and ready for slicing

Acceptance Criteria
• Passes Meshmixer/Netfabb analysis with zero manifold issues
• Critical dimensions within ±0.1 mm of my specs
• No unsupported overhangs steeper than 45° unless noted

Timeline is tight—ideally the first version within five days and final revisions shortly after. When you reply, please share links or images of previous high-detail product prototypes you have designed for 3-D printing and mention the primary software you use. Looking forward to collaborating on this.
