High-Detail CAD Prototype Model
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m preparing a physical prototype and need a high-detail 3D CAD model that is clean, fully editable, and accurate enough to send straight to the machine shop or a rapid-prototyping service. The work is strictly 3D modelling—no 2D drafting or simulation is required on this phase—so I’m looking for someone who can focus all effort on producing a precise digital representation of the part.
You will start from my sketches and dimensional notes, translate them into a native CAD file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or a comparable professional package), and supply a neutral format (STEP/IGES) as well so there are no compatibility surprises down the line. Surface finish, fillets, tolerances, and assembly interfaces have to be modelled in full detail because the prototype will be built and evaluated for fit and function.
Deliverables
• Native CAD file with full feature tree
• STEP or IGES export suitable for CNC or 3-D printing
• A brief screen-share or video walkthrough showing key design intent and editable parameters
Once I approve the geometry, the project is complete; no manufacturing drawings or FEA are needed at this stage.
