Futuristic Sheet-Metal Cover Design for CNC Machines.
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I already have the full mechanical frame of my CNC laser cutter modeled; what I still need is a set of sleek, futuristic sheet-metal covers that instantly upgrade its look on the workshop floor. The covers are primarily for aesthetic impact rather than dust or noise protection, so bold, confident lines and a clean finish matter more than industrial ruggedness.
Style & palette
– Overall vibe: futuristic, with subtle minimalist cues rather than heavy industrial angles.
– Colours: a tight palette of greyish blue, white and black—never more than three hues on any single panel.
Fit & function
The design must sit neatly on the existing frame without altering its structural integrity. Allow generous access panels for maintenance and cable routing, but keep all fasteners hidden from the front and side views to preserve that smooth, high-tech feel.
Please work in a mainstream 3D CAD environment such as SolidWorks, Inventor or Fusion 360 so I can edit the final model if required.
Deliverables
• 3D CAD models of each cover panel in native format + STEP
• Flat-pattern DXF files with bend lines and allowances ready for laser cutting
• Assembly drawings detailing mounting points, fasteners and hinge hardware
• Two or more high-quality renders showing the colour scheme in context
Acceptance
I’ll consider the project complete once the covers align perfectly with the frame model I supply, all files open error-free, and the rendered visuals reflect the specified colour scheme.
