Full Electric Vehicle CAD Design

I am moving from concept to engineering for a new electric vehicle and need a designer who can own the complete CAD workflow. That means developing every visible and hidden part—exterior body panels, structural components, interior surfaces, mounting points, brackets, everything—so the final package is production-ready.

Here is what I expect:

• Detailed 3D models and fully dimensioned 2D drawings for every component, delivered in native CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or comparable) plus neutral formats such as STEP/IGES.
• An itemised Bill of Materials that ties every drawing to part numbers, materials, and basic manufacturing notes.
• Assembly files that show how subsystems fit together, with clear fastening and tolerance information.
• Data organised so downstream teams—battery, drivetrain, suppliers—can reference or adapt it without re-work.

I already have high-level targets for size and performance; you will translate these into surfaces, hard points, and manufacturable geometry. If you bring experience with automotive standards, lightweight materials, or EV-specific packaging, please highlight it in your proposal and include samples of previous vehicle or complex product designs.

Deliverables will be reviewed against fit/finish accuracy, completeness of the BOM, and the ease with which a third-party fabricator can pick up the files. Looking forward to collaborating on a design that is ready for prototype build and beyond.
