Full 3D CAD Backpack Model
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’ve sketched a backpack concept and now need it turned into a production-ready 3D CAD model that I can attach to my patent application and share with manufacturers. The model must be fully functional, showing every interior component—nothing just sketched in outline—so a factory can read the files, quote accurately, and move straight into prototyping.
Core elements to build in
• Multiple main and secondary compartments, each dimensioned and nested logically
• Specialized pockets
• Ergonomic design touches such as contoured back panel, adjustable padded straps, and balanced weight distribution channels
• Material call-outs: exterior canvas shell, internal liner, dedicated waterproof section, and an insulated zone for temperature-sensitive items
I’m comfortable with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino outputs—whichever lets you generate native files plus neutral formats (.STEP or .IGES) for the factory. Textured renders in a standard format (JPEG/PNG) will also help illustrate the materials in the patent drawings.
Acceptance criteria
1. Parametric 3D model reflecting all features above
2. Exploded view highlighting individual components and hardware
3. Dimensioned drawings suitable for patent submission
4. High-quality renders showing material finishes
5. Source files and neutral export delivered on hand-off
